INDIGO Extract

Indigo is exactly what the description and the other reviews promise. I admit I was wary - wondering if the powdery / asphalt would come through stronger than desired. Asphalt sounds intimidating but it’s there to add urban subtlety— not to shock— and as others point out, it works so well as a top note. What remains is a slightly familiar but completely fresh blend of orris, lavender and just enough sandalwood and musk to feel warm and unisex, not flowery.

I was so shocked when I sampled this one because of how accurately it smelled like a pair of new jeans. It honestly isn't too powdery, rather soft and buttery to me. I wasn't sure what to expect with the asphalt note, but it really makes this one unique and atmospheric. Overall, very wearable and something to reach for.
