NEON VEIL edp

I have never fallen head over heels at first sniff until this fragrance. Neon Veil gets compared to the likes of Sonic Flower and You, and the DNA may be similar, but to me she is in a category all her own. True to its namesake there is a spark of electricity at the opening from the pepper. But to me this is not a cold, metallic, industrial smell… it is very much organic and alive. I don’t get any synthetic screech from this at all which must be a testament to the quality of ingredients and finesse of the blend. To me the overall impression is of raw linen that has been brought inside after drying in a sun-drenched breeze: warm and natural and a little rough in the way that well-loved things are rough. Neon Veil is not “laundry” in the clean, Type A, sophisticate style of Ceramic. Rather this is her Type B sister who is a little more free in spirit, a little more unpredictable, perhaps a rascally wink in her eye. Imperfect perfection.

This is the most otherworldly angelic scent I have ever tried! I feel so ethereal, whimsical, and bubbly every time I wear it. It’s super soft and nostalgic. Like, this is what I pictured Taylor Russell would smell like... so yeahhhh. Also, people compliment me all the time because of how good it smells!!!!
