Q: What's your name, and what do you do?

I'm Gigi, and I'm training to be a perfumer in Paris!

Q: How did you get to know the brand?

I fell in love with Andrea Maack the day I entered the fragrance industry. Previously, I had been to Iceland 8 times. It is the most magical country I have ever visited.

When I started working with a niche boutique (ZGO Perfumery), and found Andrea's brand which truly reflected the unique Icelandic experience, while also blending into the modern art and lifestyle world, I couldn't help but become obsessed.

Her futuristic take on fragrances, accords that do and don' exist in nature, make you stop think and smell differently than anyone else.

Q: What's your favorite Andrea Maack fragrance, and why?

Soft Tension. This is a game changing fragrance. Skin like, slightly mossy and super refreshing, sexy and mysterious.

Q: What's your fragrance ritual?

Soft Tension is THE ritual fragrance. I take my everything shower, with a little eucalyptus right in the steam path of the water. I step out, take a breath and instantly spray Soft Tension to welcome me into the morning. Then I layer with my most moisturising body cream - hot tip is that Soft Tension layers with ANY scented lotion and brings out the best of the pairing.
