When I was in Iceland, I had the opportunity to smell Coven and I could not imagine leaving without it.
Coven opens with a dark papery green galbanum and wet moss-adorned with woody spice with a subtle thread of dark vanilla and a breath of fine peaty whiskey and sweetly resinous labdanum at the tail end of the inhalation. As it dries, the scent develops a lovely round woody vanilla tone with balsamic whiskey notes swept with beautifully sharp green galbanum that feel warmed by sweet labdanum and a faint exhalation of clove. Even after 6 hours of wear, the deep, shadowy green mossy galbanum and cedar dance around vanilla-warmed whiskey darkened with labdanum and the barest whisper of spice. It is a darkly earthy blend that speaks of deep forests, the fae, and untamed wilds - It's spellbinding.

Coven has been my gateway drug into fragrance obsession, I saw a TikTok video that reviewed it, looked up the scent notes, ordered a sample and in the months since I have become obsessed with perfume, but this one is still my favorite. When I heard "Do you want to smell like a witch?" and read the notes for Coven, I was instantly sold. It definitely has that green, woodsy scent. I'm not picking up the vanilla as others have said but that's fine. The Coven perfume lasts long on my skin. Beautiful, earthy scent. Love it!
