FLUX Extract

I know others have said it’s Pacific Northwest. For me it’s Downeast Maine, where the forest meets the rocky coastline. I’m at the summit of Mt Cadillac, overlooking Bar Harbor in late July and the wild blueberries are ripe. This is the first full size bottle I’ve ever bought myself and I wear it year-round. It is not a bright, fruity summer scent and it’s not a smoky, earthy winter one either. There’s something cooler here too which adds just a hint of mystery. It’s perfect.

Flux is a soul-fragrance for me. It brings me back to childhood, when I would pick berries with my dad along the Santa Cruz coast. The sun is fading, we're walking back to the car through the redwood forest, and I'm looking for fairies in the underbrush.

Wild, sweet, a bit bracing, and deeply personal. Give this one a try if you want a unique, but wearable woodsy scent. The longevity is impressive, too--the cashmeran drydown lasts on clothes for days.

This perfume has me drooling like a dog! I ordered the discovery set, and while all perfumes were uniquely incredible, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Flux. Coven, Pavilion, and Jest were extremely close behind on my list. Something about Flux is so unique and captivating. I wish I had all of them to wear over and over!

I just ordered a sample kit and had the opportunity to smell flux (which hopefully I can upgrade to a full bottle). This scent is incredibly unique. First spritz the blueberry hits with mint. Like blueberry jam in the snow. It is cold yet sweet. The scent soon dries down to some green notes like walking through the trees. At the end, I am left with a jammy, woody scent. It really embodies the experience of moving through a forest.

I was looking for a scent that reminded me of the Pacific Northwest and this did just that for me. It is atmospheric and embodies a cool fresh breeze and pine trees! Longevity was fantastic!
